The successful candidate will provide high-level support to attorneys in the torts & litigation and professional liability practice groups, managing calendars, scheduling court appearances, and preparing legal documents.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal administrative support to attorneys across multiple practice areas
Manage document preparation, filing (electronic and paper), scheduling, pre-bills and billing
Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and docketing records
Answer phones, handle correspondence, and provide general administrative support
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local court rules, including e-filing and electronic docketing
Work collaboratively with other assistants and firm staff to ensure seamless operations across offices
Qualification
Required
Have 5 to 7 years of experience in a legal assistant role, with a strong background in litigation preferably in a law firm environment
Be proficient in legal document preparation, file and case management, scheduling, dictation, and billing procedures
Have a working knowledge of electronic court filing systems and docketing software
Be highly familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management systems (preferably iManage)
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Preferably have experience in professional liability, product liability, torts, motor vehicle negligence and commercial litigation
E-File in state and federal court (preferred)
