New Grad, Entry LevelProgressive Machine and Design is seeking an Automation Electrician I to support the Controls Build Job Leaders in various tasks related to panel building, wiring, and installations. The role involves collaborating with team members, managing job parts, and ensuring safety procedures are followed during the work process.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Controls Build Job Leaders and Electricians to gain expertise in all aspects of controls build
Perform tasks such as drilling, tapping holes, mounting wireways and DIN rails, and wiring components
Create cutouts and knockouts for enclosures
Manage the job parts shelf, ensuring all necessary components are received
Keep the drawing packet updated with the latest revisions
Communicate essential project changes with the job leader, engineers, and other team members
Assist with panel build and machine wiring
Support the power up procedure
Participate in installation at customer sites
Engrave ID tags for components
Observe safety procedures
Maintain a clean orderly work area
Any other task assigned by management within scope of position, federal and state regulations
Qualification
Required
High School degree or GED
Familiar with hand tools
Effectively communicate orally and in writing
Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to apply concepts of basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, percentages
Regularly required to stand; walk; bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and smell
Occasionally required to sit
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work environment is primarily performed indoors around moving mechanical parts at a moderate noise level
Regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock
Occasionally perform work outdoors in all types of weather
Wear safety equipment, including proper PPE
Travel up to 30% of time for project installations, domestic and international
