Director, Sales Strategy – Network Distribution & Voice Solutions

Responsibilities
Develop and lead the sales strategy for network distribution, peering, and voice services, aligning with product lifecycle stages and market dynamics
Define and execute go-to-market plans, including segmentation, targeting, pricing, and positioning strategies
Collaborate with customers and partners to understand their connectivity, aggregation, and voice needs, translating them into scalable commercial offerings
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities
Partner with Product Management to shape roadmap priorities based on revenue potential and customer demand
Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track sales effectiveness and product adoption
Lead strategic initiatives to expand market share, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to promote thought leadership and build strategic relationships
Mentor and develop a high-performing team focused on strategic sales planning and execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience selling to Media companies, Telcos, Advertising Agencies, and Technology Providers, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships
5+ years of experience in Cloud and/or Technology Software or Hardware sales
Deep understanding of network distribution technologies, including CDN, IP Peering, Edge Compute, and Outsourced Voice services
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders and external partners
Familiarity with distribution tools used by Comcast and X1 is a plus
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives
Willingness to travel 20–25% to customer sites, industry events, and internal offices
