Program Manager

Responsibilities

Serve as an advisor to the program team, providing guidance on project tasks and operations to drive successful outcomes
Facilitate contract negotiations and manage contractual changes and coordinate the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial terms and conditions of contracts
Identify and establish new business opportunities to expand the product line and enhance profitability
Accountable for ensuring compliance with master plans and schedules, developing innovative solutions to program challenges, and directing the work of team members assigned to the program from various departments
Conduct weekly status update meeting with clients to ensure effective communication of projects
Provide regular updates on program status to the supervisor to ensure transparency and alignment on project
Monitor, update and track open ongoing program challenges to ensure resolution and progress
Oversee and Facilitate design review meeting to ensure quality in program projects
Coordinate the shipment of prototype units to ensure delivery and quality control
Supervise the testing required for product qualification to drive successful project outcomes
Collaborate with sales team to facilitate invoicing processes for customers during the development phase
Ensure timely and cost-effective project completion by closely monitoring schedules and budgets

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
10+ years in a manufacturing business environment & 5+ in Program Manager role, defense manufacturing strongly preferred
Demonstrated strong teamwork with various organizations both internal and external
Effective communication skills with cross functional teams
Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, written and verbal
Ability to accurately and thoroughly document processes, procedures, and training documents
General knowledge of control systems, electrical testing, and troubleshooting

Preferred

PMP certification preferred
