Responsibilities
You'll play a key role in evolving our identity infrastructure to meet the needs of our growing customer base
You'll spend your time building new product features, contributing to the restructuring of our identity systems into a dedicated service, and implementing critical security capabilities
Your day-to-day work will involve working on role-based access controls (RBAC), SCIM integrations, service account functionality, and supporting multiple deployment environments
This is primarily a backend-focused role (80% Go, 20% TypeScript/React) where you'll work across our multi-tenant and single-tenant architectures, occasionally helping debug customer issues across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Go for backend development
Experience with TypeScript and React for frontend development
Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL or similar)
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain production systems
Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Proficiency with Docker and containerization
Comfortable working in distributed systems environments
Strong focus on writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
Excellent code organization and software architecture skills
Preferred
Experience with authentication and authorization systems (OIDC, SSO, OAuth)
Familiarity with identity providers such as Auth0, Okta, PingFederate, or Microsoft Entra
Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Experience across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with GCP services including BigTable and PubSub
Working knowledge of Redis and caching strategies
Background in security-oriented development practices
Experience supporting multi-tenant architectures
Familiarity with RBAC, SCIM, or other identity management protocols
Previous work on developer tools or platforms that serve technical users
