Responsibilities

Research and analyze operations and market data to provide strategic solutions to internal and external customers

Educate internal and external customers to increase the awareness, understanding and use of the department’s services

Assess customer shipments, network and marketplace information to determine the best transportation solutions for the customers

Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify needs and provide solutions to improve service

Participate on department projects to serve as subject matter experts

Maintain and update department policies and procedures to meet internal and external customer needs

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

Perform other duties as required

Required

Two (2) years of college or equivalent work experience plus two (2) years of experience in operations, logistics/transportation, distribution/warehouse, sales or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to interpret data and provide a solution

Ability to learn internal statistical and reporting software and tools (ACCOPS/CMQT/VFS)

Solutions oriented with good Project Management skills

Good collaboration, time management, communication and problem solving skills
