Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and throughput
Analyze production data to identify trends, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling specifications
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects
Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives through project participation and data analysis
Perform time studies and cycle time analysis to balance workflow and improve efficiency
Assist with new product introductions and process validation activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (internship or co-op experience preferred)
Advanced understanding of Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma concepts
Proficiency in problem-solving tools such as Pareto analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and PDCA
Strong analytical and data visualization skills, particularly in Excel
Proficiency with CAD software and familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
Proactive and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
