Responsibilities
Provide direct client interaction and frequent courtroom experience
Represent clients in court throughout the state of North Carolina
Prepare, draft, and file legal documents on behalf of clients
Conduct legal research and analysis
Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategy
Negotiate settlements and resolve legal disputes
Travel to court multiple times per week
Comply with all applicable legal standards, rules, and regulations
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate (JD) required
Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Willingness to travel for court appearances
Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, organized, and flexible to assist across the firm as needed
Preferred
Experience in Creditor's Rights, Landlord-Tenant, or Civil Litigation preferred
Admission to the three Federal District Courts of North Carolina is a plus
2–5 years of practice experience preferred
