They are seeking a Full-Time Quality Assurance Materials Construction Engineer to monitor construction and ensure compliance with project specifications while working with the Infrastructure and PMCM Teams.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret project plans and specifications

Monitor construction and fabrication of structural roadway and bridge components for compliance with project documents

Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures

Inspect road and bridge construction (based on Caltrans Standards and Plans)

Review, inspect, and recommend approval of contractor quality control plans in accordance with Caltrans’ standards and industry requirements, including welding, concrete and related codes and specifications

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to TRC’s Code of Conduct and associated policies and procedures

Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Qualification

B.S. in Civil EngineeringCA Professional License10 yrs. experienceAWS CWI certificationNDT certificationPCI certificationASQ certification

CA Professional License in Civil Engineering

10 yrs. experience

Additional certifications: AWS CWI, NDT, PCI and/or ASQ
