They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play an integral role driving the company’s growth, responsible for supporting key accounting operational functions and ensuring the company’s financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare full cycle month end including general ledger reconciliations, expense accruals, journal entries, monthly review of fixed assets and depreciation as well as monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable and intercompany accounts

Maintain books and records for management companies, and related subsidiaries

Oversee and manage the month-end close process and distribution of monthly report packages

Monthly allocation of overhead expenses to respective concepts and portfolio companies

Process and track intercompany reimbursements

Assist with organizational cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Rubicon Founders and assist with pre seed or seed portfolio companies as needed

Prepare other tax compliance (e.g., business tax, franchise tax, annual registration fees)

Support the year-end audit and tax compliance process

Assist with specific projects and initiatives unique to a fast-growing investment firm, such as system implementations and updates and business process improvements

Provide Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

Qualification

CPA certificationAccounting experiencePublic accounting experiencePrivate equity experienceMicrosoft OfficeQuickBooksAnalytical skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

3-5 years of accounting experience

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred

CPA certification

Public accounting and private equity experience

Experience working with QuickBooks, Ramp, and Rippling
