Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment processes, including raw water pump stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, and chemical systems
Manage and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Ensure all designs and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and maintain strong relationships
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability

Required

10+ years of experience in water/wastewater process design, with a strong preference for water treatment expertise
Proficiency in designing raw water pump stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, chemical metering pumps, transfer pumps, and chloramine systems
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, WaterCAD, or equivalent tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, teams, and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions

Preferred

Extensive experience in water treatment processes is highly preferred
Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing large-scale projects
Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices and environmental impact reduction
