Personal Bond Officer

NEOGOV is seeking a Personal Bond Officer to ensure each detainee receives a fair and affordable bond amount. The primary responsibilities include investigating and preparing bond documents, interviewing inmates regarding their finances, and determining eligibility for pre-trial release.

Responsibilities

Investigates and prepares bond documents
Interviews inmates during jail intake regarding the inmate’s finances
Reviews bond amounts set by courts using written guidelines
Investigates and interviews arrestees to determine if they qualify for pre-trial release
Reviews, tracks and submits listings of all misdemeanor inmates who qualify for pretrial release but lack the ability to pay required fees
Responds to queries regarding release through the pre-trial agency
Investigates and prepares bond documents
Reviews all bonds posted by other investigators
Performs related work as assigned

Required

Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent
Requires six months of experience in social work, human resources customer service or closely related experience
