Responsibilities

Responsible for mission planning, implementation, engineering, maintenance, and troubleshooting as required to support users requiring GAIT services
Must be knowledgeable in the tactical, worldwide global network from a planning, implementation, and troubleshooting perspective

Ability to assess network outage or degradation remediation in a quick and resourceful manner
Understand Raydyne FDMA, and NCW modem operations
Setup, troubleshooting, and understanding of Linkway NCC operations
Create trunks
Build call managers
Create route patterns
Setup and operate the REDCOM
Setup and operate the Voice Gateway Routers (VGR)
Understand call setup and call traffic flow

Set up and operate KG-175A and KG-175D model TACLANEs and/or similar encryption devices

Have a working knowledge of Communications Security topics including setting up and operating KG-175A and KG-175D model TACLANEs and/or similar encryption devices and setting up and operating KIV-7M
Have a working knowledge of NetOps topics including setting up, troubleshooting, and understanding VMware vSphere 6.0 (VMware VCP-DCV) and various Netops applications such as SNMPc, Solarwinds ORION, Radius, and TACACS (Cisco ISE)
Highschool or GED equivalent
4+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
CompTIA Security+ and CCNA are preferred
