Corporate Relations Manager

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with representative of prospective corporate employers in order to promote recruiting of Institute students
Advise students on career search activities to include job search strategy and company targeting, resume preparation, interview techniques and practice and interactive one-on-one coaching sessions
Collaborate with other GT organizations and individuals such as alumni, faculty and development representatives to promote job networking and mentoring opportunities
Plan and coordinate holding of job fairs and other promotional events aimed at student placement in corporate positions
Maintain databases utilized in promotional and placement efforts
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Four to five years of job related experience
Skills in effectively interacting with corporate executives, alumni, faculty and staff for the purpose of promoting the recruitment of Institute students
Skills in career advising and counseling
Skills in relationship building, sales/marketing, communications and presentation
Preferred
Experience in career counseling or advising, particularly in a university setting
Knowledge of employer relations and campus recruiting practices
Strong communication and presentation skills for workshops and seminars
Networking and relationship-building skills with students, employers, and alumni
Understanding of labor market trends and industry hiring practices
Experience with career management platforms (e.g., 1220, Handshake, Symplicity)
Coaching certifications or training in career counseling or professional development
Data analysis and reporting skills to track student outcomes
