Account & Project Manager - Fire Suppression
BIC Recruiting's client is a fire protection system supplier, seeking an Account & Project Manager - Fire Suppression. The role involves promoting products, developing business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with key clients in the fire-fighting industry across North America.

Responsibilities
Support in managing the North American authorized distributor network and customer base, specifically key accounts
Generate leads in all relevant markets in which foam as extinguishing agent is mandated
Technical expert for the product portfolio and its applications in the North American market
Competent partner for all colleagues for matters concerning the North American market and North American projects
Assist the sales team with any complex quotes and technical questions
Must have a complete overview of all projects and trends in the North American market and present them accordingly in meetings
Must know what the service requirements in the North American markets are
Assist in deriving and implementing a service and spare parts strategy
Consolidation and maintenance of the North American data base in the CRM system
Assist in all North American marketing and marketing communications matters
Represent at all relevant North American fire protection related organizations and institutions
Assistance in identifying and organizing relevant industry specific trade shows and attendance
Assistance in developing and implementing sales, marketing and budget strategies to increase sales and market share in the North American fire protection market
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree (preferably in process engineering, mechanical engineering or system engineering with knowledge of fluid mechanics)
Experience in B2B value add sales, marketing and relationships in an environment of technical investment products
Good knowledge of the fire-fighting market and fire extinguishing products
Knowledgeable in business economics / business administration
International work experience (varying cultures and mentalities)
Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language, other languages welcome
Good communication skills, team player
Ability and willingness to travel (also to international locations)
Self-organized
Strong personal drive
Understanding of the specific requirements of the end user, engineering companies, system manufacturers and contractors
Ability to transfer a vision into an achievable strategy
Technical, analytical, creative
Desire to work in an international environment
Proven success in participating in the development of market strategies in an environment consisting of end users, engineering companies, system manufacturers and contractors
Ability and willingness to travel to the headquarter in Germany for training and reporting purposes
