Responsibilities

Lead all tax compliance reporting for the organization
Prepare S corporation and partnership tax returns
Oversee sales and use tax filings across multiple states
Support personal property tax assessments
Assist with exemption certificate compliance, book to tax reconciliations, and M adjustments
Work with rental fleet and fixed asset depreciation
Maintain and support tax setup, configuration, and testing within the company’s ERP system
Address user tax inquiries and assist with system enhancements
Support federal, state, and local audit requests
Participate in quarterly payment planning, forecasting, and tax planning
Identify and implement process improvements across tax operations
Stay current on changes to GAAP and tax requirements and implement updates as needed
Collaborate cross-functionally on projects and support broader finance initiatives

Required

Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
Five or more years of tax experience, preferably starting in public accounting and moving into industry
Experience with income tax, sales and use tax, and property tax
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Solid system capabilities with Microsoft Office and tax software

Preferred

CPA preferred but not required
