Investment Representative
Redwood Credit Union is seeking an Investment Representative who will focus on virtual channels to provide exceptional personalized service and investment products to members. The role involves assessing financial goals, developing investment strategies, and maintaining relationships with members and team members.

Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate Member and team member needs for financial services, assess the objectives and goals of the individual, and develop an investment strategy to implement
Proactively market and support all aspects assigned
Identify and develop relationships with Wholesalers
Identify and develop relationships with assigned departments and/or teams
Keep current on investment products and services offered
Identify and refer Members requiring in-person or more complex services to the appropriate Advisors
Follow through on the service and sales goals set forth by the Investment Program
Provide regular feedback to the branch team members, identified credit union executives and sales managers regarding sales practices and business development initiatives
Provide excellent Member service
Periodically virtually meet with Members and/or clients to review and update needs ensuring investment objectives and goals are progressing according to plan. Meetings to take place either monthly, quarterly and/or yearly depending on client needs established by Representative
Ensure inbound phone calls, orders/transactions, and service that requires licensing is completed
Provide basic financial planning for Members virtually, as needed
Address and solve business-related challenges as needed
Work with Managers to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities
Support investment and credit union integration initiatives, e.g., deposit calling efforts, call nights, branch training, etc
Support all product and campaign launches
Qualification
Required
Must possess basic investment knowledge
Ability to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the credit union, FINRA, SEC and the broker/dealer
Exceptional service and sales skills, ability to independently utilize judgment, and make sound business decisions
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills utilizing video and phone
Ability to critically think, analyze situations, and solve problems
Ability to distinguish and manage confidential information, materials, and conversations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diverse environment
Ability to operate a personal computer and software including word processing, email, and intra/internet
FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required. Ability to obtain a Series 66 or 65
State Life and Health Insurances licenses required
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of one years' financial industry experience
Preferred
Previous experience working in credit union or community bank
