Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required

The candidate must be licensed or license eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist according to New York State licensure requirements. Continued employment will require obtaining a license through the full laboratory technologist or restricted (Molecular) laboratory technologist license pathway

Requires strong communication skills, both written and oral

Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment in order to meet strict deadlines

Preferred

Experience with Illumina NGS platforms

Experience with assay development and validation

Master's degree in biology/related field plus 4 years of related experience
