The Director of Marketing will lead strategy, execution, and performance across client accounts, managing a marketing team and overseeing various marketing channels including social media, email, and e-commerce.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end marketing strategy for client accounts—from big-picture vision to actionable plans and execution
Manage and mentor the marketing team, setting priorities, reviewing work, and ensuring timelines and standards are met
Develop and oversee integrated marketing roadmaps across paid media, social, email/SMS, and e-commerce
Own client relationships—leading calls, guiding strategy conversations, and translating business goals into clear marketing direction
Oversee performance and analytics, connecting numbers to narrative and using data to inform optimization and decision-making
Approve and refine deliverables across channels, ensuring they are strategically sound, detail-oriented, and client-ready
Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure marketing strategy and creative execution are fully aligned
Lead reporting and insights—clearly communicating results, learnings, and next steps to clients
Ask the right questions, identify gaps, and proactively problem-solve across accounts
Roll up your sleeves when needed—whether that’s jumping into campaigns, troubleshooting performance, or supporting leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree
7–10+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or digital strategy
Proven experience in e-commerce marketing
Hands-on experience across paid media, social, email/SMS, and web/e-commerce strategy
Strong understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and reporting
Experience managing and training teams
Proficiency with collaboration and analytics tools (Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Suite, Notion, GA, Meta Business suite, Google Ads, Tiktok etc.)
Comfortable presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
Must have a laptop
Must live in Los Angeles
Must be dog-friendly
