Responsibilities

Ensure the 24/7 operation and security of the data center

Manage and train data center staff and technicians

Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of data center infrastructure during or after work hours

Monitor system performance and oversee troubleshooting efforts

Implement and enforce data center policies and procedures

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment and services

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Conduct regular audits and assessments of data center operations

Assessing the customer needs and implementing improved configurations for customer needs

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in system administration

7 years of progressive experience in serving as a system administrator

Experience leading a team

Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter

Experience with Amazon, Microsoft, or Google cloud services

Experience with VMware vSphere platform

Extensive experience in both application development/sustainment as well as operational support for large, highly scalable applications

IAT III certification (CISSP, Security X, CCISO, CCSP, CFR, CISM, GSLC)

US Citizen
