Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the registered nurse
Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health and social needs; comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid needs; and elimination needs
Measures vital signs, performs ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement, capillary blood glucose testing, and Unit Secretary, Patient Transport, and Environment of Care duties

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

1 year experience in a related patient care role Preferred
