Responsibilities

Actively monitors assigned HEAT tickets, documents activities thoroughly, and resolves issues within the established service levels in a consistent manner
Leads and mentors others to perform workflow analysis and design with input and guidance from key operational leadership. Demonstrates understanding of interdependent workflows across departments/systems. Facilitates workflow adoption on new processes. Ability to articulate benefits and risks associated with new workflow/implementation
Leads the development of testing materials and activities for workflow updates/system upgrades/implementations Participates in system testing events by executing scripts. Accurately documents and reports any noted errors or deficiencies
Leads system activities related to upgrades and optimization independently. Accounts for application dependencies, interfaces and other workflow concerns. Establishes and executes a communication plan related to upgrade/optimization activities
Leads and completes projects within specified time frame. Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining portfolio of regular support assignments. Able to examine existing system design for optimization opportunities, based on experience. Performs duties with little direction required. Ensures timeline, scope and resources for project are well managed
Leads resolutions and teaches others how to troubleshoot or prevent future occurrence
Leads departmental and customer team meetings. Prepares and presents substantial portions of meetings on a regular basis. Acts as an internal consultant for operational leadership. Performs as a respected and engaging leader for assigned projects
Leads teams to advance application knowledge and understanding. Achieves and maintains up-to-date application knowledge for multiple applications/process areas. Utilizes appropriate resources to further knowledge to address issues or complete assigned tasks. Recognized as an expert in assigned areas of system support. . Actively mentors others. Presents solutions that are creative and functional
Leads development of downtime processes. Actively participates in testing of downtime processes. Demonstrates broad understanding of downtime as it affects the enterprise. Ensures systems and workflows are adequate to recover from planned or unplanned downtime events
Leads the development of training content for users. Infuses training with key workflow information and best practices related to system use. Leads formal training activities in the form of teaching, proctoring, materials preparation or other tasks as necessary

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
7+ years experience with large hospital applications/systems preferred
