Client Service Associate/New Accounts Rep

Responsibilities

Serves as main New Account Representative: Collecting required documentation, both business and/or consumer, facilitating documents for opening accounts
Manage several client relationships. Handling inquiries, requests and solution resolution with professionalism and accuracy
Provide proactive client communication, ensuring timely follow-up and updates
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service
Support bankers and relationship managers in client and prospect calls and meetings
Identify opportunities for cross-selling or referral of additional banking products and services to enhance client relationships
Client education and training on various deposit products and services
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bank products, services, systems, procedures and current regulatory and compliance standards
Assist with special projects or other duties as directed by Vice President, Client Service Officer or Chief Lending Officer
Other job duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of five (5) years client/customer support experience required. (preferably in a banking environment)
Proficient with various software programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with experience with financial services software preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Communication skills are necessary to relate well to and work effectively with bank staff, clients and prospects
Flexibility and judgment for effective handling of sensitive issues and problems
Ability to use a personal computer, word processing, spreadsheets and other job related software programs
Excellent written and verbal communication, including proofreading skills
Ability to work in an open office setting with frequent interruptions from telephone calls and walk-in visitors
Ability to juggle competing priorities under pressure, meet deadlines and take initiative on projects
Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned
