Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns with accuracy and efficiency
Develop strategies to minimize liabilities, research complex tax issues, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
Build strong client relationships, respond to inquiries, and deliver proactive tax guidance
Assist with IRS and state audits by preparing and organizing supporting documentation
Mentor junior staff by reviewing work, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth

Qualification

Active CPATax preparation softwareFederal tax regulationsMicrosoft ExcelAnalytical skillsClient advisoryStaff developmentProblem-solving skillsAttention to detail

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Active CPA required
3+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software (e.g., CCH, ProSystem fx, or similar platforms)
Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations, with experience across individual and business tax filings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines
