Licking County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Business and Finance team at Central Ohio Technical College and The Ohio State University at Newark. The role involves providing data analysis, reporting, and financial insights to inform decision-making and support various financial processes.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Providing data analysis, reporting, and financial insights that inform decision-making
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, position control, operational expenditures, and process improvement initiatives
Collaborating with campus partners to evaluate departments, academic programs, and new initiatives
Developing reports and resources to enhance transparency and efficiency
Providing data related to student scholarships and institutional priorities

Required

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years of relevant business, financial, or analytical experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and interpret data
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an interdisciplinary team member
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement

Preferred

Experience working in a higher education environment
Experience building reports and extracting data from multiple systems or platforms
Prior experience with Ellucian Colleague and/or Workday
Strong information technology aptitude and experience supporting data-driven decision-making
Experience building reports and extracting data from various platforms
