RedGuard is a trusted provider of structures for severe weather and asset protection. They are seeking a Drafting Intern who will interact with Sales, Design, and Production teams to create detailed floor plans and drawings for storm shelters and other industrial buildings using CAD software.

Responsibilities

Creates various products and floor plan layouts as needed for assigned projects

Willingness to gain knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences used to complete drawings

Draws finished designs from initial sketches or verbal instructions

Uses computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software

Works with Director of Sales, Design Engineer, and Manufacturing team to create and update product drawings

Communicates efficiently and effectively with engineering department to ensure complete plans are accurate and complete
