Responsibilities
Performing general maintenance and upkeep of LCB grounds and outdoor spaces
Maintaining gardens, lawns and plants including, without limitation, planting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, weeding, mulching and trimming
Keeping outdoor areas clean and free of debris
Installing and repairing outdoor sprinkler and irrigation systems
Identifying and eliminating plant disease, pests and weeds utilizing specialized equipment and chemicals
Preparing outdoor areas for weather-related conditions and performing snow and ice removal
Operating hand tools, power tools and larger equipment including, without limitation, power mowers, tractor mowers, forklifts, pallet jacks and automobiles
Performing general maintenance and minor repairs of tools and equipment
Maintaining inventory and maintenance records
Reading and interpreting repair orders, service manuals, building codes and blueprints
Assisting the Buildings team with special projects and daily assignments, as needed
Performing general indoor plumbing, electric, painting and carpentry tasks, including, without limitation, the installation, repair and maintenance of fixtures, wiring and paint
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma/GED
A valid driver's license
At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in one or more building or grounds trades
At least 2 years of experience performing grounds maintenance
Preferred
Experience using outdoor maintenance tools and equipment
