Latham Centers, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic summer interns to support recreational and meaningful activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within their group homes and community programs. This internship provides hands-on experience in direct care and offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the impact of recreational programming in DDS group homes.

Responsibilities

Observe and assist in implementing tailored activities that meet the diverse needs of individuals

Work under the guidance of a Residential House Manager to develop skills in client documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and direct support

Contribute to innovative programming initiatives, including the Latham CBDS Without Walls program, promoting independence, inclusion, and enhanced quality of life for individuals with disabilities
