Masters Level Clinical Internship - Paid
Fernbrook Family Center provides internships for Masters level students in fields such as Social Work and Psychology. The role involves providing psychotherapy services, conducting assessments, and collaborating with staff while under supervision.

Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy and/or skills services to children, adults, and families
Conduct diagnostic assessments to determine eligibility for services
Meet required productivity benchmarks for client services and weekly billable expectations
Complete documentation in alignment with established content, quality, and timeliness standards
Seek supervisory guidance and consultation as needed
Coordinate and collaborate with Fernbrook staff and external service providers
Complete mandatory trainings for skill maintenance or enhancement
Attend and engage in staff meetings in ways that support your professional needs
Uphold and communicate Fernbrook Family Center’s mission internally and externally
Follow all agency policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be enrolled in a master's degree program related to Social Work, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and other pertinent related fields
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required for positions involving community-based client contact
Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with agency and Department of Human Services requirements
Strong ethical decision-making abilities
Ability to maintain professional boundaries
Willingness to ask for support when needed
Ability to independently manage time, schedules, and deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external partners
Ability to work independently across diverse settings, as well as collaboratively within a team
Openness to receiving feedback and direction
Commitment to ongoing learning and clinical growth
Proficiency with computers and basic software programs, or willingness to learn
