Mid LevelRangeline Group is seeking a Project Accountant to oversee the complete accounting cycle and financial reporting for a designated division. This role involves supporting project managers and operational leaders by ensuring precise financial records, timely reporting, and efficient job cost tracking while adhering to internal controls.

Responsibilities
You’ll take charge of preparing and maintaining ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and managing month-end closing activities
Additionally, you’ll oversee accounts payable and receivable, as well as reconcile bank accounts and various balance sheet accounts, ensuring everything is in perfect alignment
In this role, you’ll keep a close eye on job costs, labor, equipment usage, subcontractor invoices, and materials
You’ll also validate project billings while tracking costs against job quotes to ensure they are complete and accurate
Get ready to dive into preparing monthly divisional financial statements, variance analyses, and management reporting packages
You’ll monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics that drive success
You’ll ensure our practices comply with internal policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements, while assisting with both internal and external audit requests
As the primary accounting contact for your division, you’ll provide essential financial support to the field management and contribute to process improvements and technology enhancements that promote efficiency
