Responsibilities

Schedule appointments and manage the front desk calendar accurately
Handle client check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
Maintain and update patient records with attention to detail and accuracy
Answer phone calls promptly, provide information, and direct calls as necessary
Assist clients by answering questions and providing support during stressful or emotional situations
Demonstrate understanding of basic veterinary terminology and procedures to effectively communicate with clients and team members
Work collaboratively with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure
Perform light physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed

Required

Proficient computer literacy, including experience with scheduling software and maintaining electronic records
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable and confident working around animals of various sizes and temperaments
Financial acumen to handle payments and maintain accurate transaction records
Calmness under pressure and adaptability to changing situations
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely
