Responsibilities
Provide the highest tier of technical support for Multnomah County Circuit Court custom applications
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the court’s automated processes
Query databases and build reports
Understanding the business needs that drive custom development
Working within technical requirements to translate those needs into program features
Communicate complex ideas driving technological solutions in an understandable way
Anticipate impacts on the organization and communicate in advance with those who are impacted
Independently manage the complete project life cycle on all assigned tasks
Prepare written documentation, analysis, and technical recommendations
Work as part of a development team
Prioritize projects together
Cross-train to back each other up
Mentor other IT teammates
Collaborate with nontechnical project team members
Work with court staff and judges, IT specialists, public and private sector agencies, and members of the public
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, management, public administration, or a related field
At least four (4) years of technical experience in the duties and infrastructure support required for the position
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to eight (8) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position
A current driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or equivalent reporting tool
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience with Microsoft BizTalk
Demonstrated reliability in a work environment with a high degree of independence
Demonstrated understanding of when to elevate an issue to a supervisor or manager
Demonstrated attention to technical detail
