Weekend Activities Assistant

Responsibilities

Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities
Being able to truly connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs
The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents
Cooperating closely with the care team to support residents holistically
Balancing daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep

Qualification

Required

Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State. This training can also be provided by the community
