The role involves preparing court filings, estate accountings, and legal documents while working closely with senior attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services to high-net worth individuals and families.

Responsibilities
Preparing court filings, estate and fiduciary accountings, and tax returns
Assisting with estate administration tasks
Drafting and finalizing legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate plans
Conducting legal research on trust, estates, tax regulations, and relevant case law
Assisting with trust administration tasks
Communicating with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case progress, and address inquiries
Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
Qualification
Required
At least four years of experience as a Trusts & Estates paralegal
Experience preparing court filings, estate and fiduciary accountings, and tax returns
Experience assisting with estate administration tasks
Experience drafting and finalizing legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate plans
Experience conducting legal research on trust, estates, tax regulations, and relevant case law
Experience assisting with trust administration tasks
Experience communicating with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case progress, and address inquiries
Experience organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
Experience with CT Probate administration and filing
Experience with trust accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred
Experience with New York Probate Court filing
