Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate new markets and grow the customer base for Automotive DMS solutions
Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall company goals and objectives
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on new business acquisition
Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the automotive sector
Utilize insights to inform sales strategies and product positioning
Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate of leads to customers
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at automotive dealerships and related organizations
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging and offerings
Collaborate with partners and industry associations to enhance visibility and outreach
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive leadership
Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve overall performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the automotive technology or software industry
Proven track record of driving new business sales and achieving revenue targets
Strong understanding of Automotive DMS systems and the automotive dealership landscape
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
