Responsibilities

Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties
Maintains the standards of nursing care for all patients and implements the policies and procedures of the Emergency Department, Hospital, and Nursing Department

Medical terminologyCardiac Arrhythmia RecognitionPhlebotomy skillsOrthopedic splinting skillsCPR CertificationBasic computer skillsMaryland CNA License

Required

Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent
Less than one year experience
Basic computer skills; Medical terminology; Cardiac Arrhythmia Recognition; Orthopedic splinting skills; Phlebotomy/Medlock insertion skills
CPR Certification; Cardiac Arrhythmia Recognition Test; Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant License
