In this role, you will deliver hardware and software solutions for a range of automation projects while collaborating with clients to define project scope and timelines.

Responsibilities
Lead design and development of application/control systems of varying complexity
Develop and evaluate innovative system solutions to meet project requirements
Modify program and system logic across interconnected systems and subsystems
Gain proficiency in a range of programming languages and control device networks (PLCs and PCs)
Collaborate with clients to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
Work effectively in a matrix environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
Provide on-site support and commissioning (10–25% travel required)
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms: ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500, RSView, PanelView Plus, RSBizWare, RSBatch
Familiarity with other PLC platforms (GE, Siemens, Modicon) and SCADA/HMI packages (iFix, Wonderware)
Strong knowledge of control system networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong leadership presence
Must possess a valid driver's license
Bachelor's degree in chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
6+ years of relevant experience in automation and process control systems (or equivalent education and experience)
Strong troubleshooting and process control skills required
Preferred
Experience designing control system electrical packages is preferred
Prior experience with validation in pharmaceutical/biotech environments is highly preferred
Experience in a technical leadership role is a plus
Background in instrumentation is a plus
Familiarity with biopharmaceutical processes and GMP/validation protocols is highly desirable
Understanding of S88 batch standards and batch system implementation is a plus
