Liquidity & Account Solutions- Escrow Services Deal Negotiator- Vice President
Chase is a leading financial services firm, and they are seeking a Vice President and Escrow Services Deal Negotiator in their Liquidity and Account Solutions team. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of institutional escrow clients, negotiating complex legal agreements, and delivering exceptional service on high-profile transactions.

Responsibilities
Understands the business purpose and deal structure for new business referrals
Interacts with clients’ external counsel to directly negotiate escrow and related contracts in a proactive and professional manner
Turns around red-lined comments proactively, quickly, and with an understanding of past precedents to ensure we meet client responsiveness and closing date expectations
Ensures the potential risk and liability assumed by J.P. Morgan under each agreement is within permitted guidelines
Works with team members to ensure account and deal information is set up on all technology platforms with contractual obligations denoted
Acts as the primary point of contact for allocated clients and manages the retention of client relationships
Serves as a subject matter expert with a deep understanding of client needs, and leads solutioning and the adoption of existing and upcoming client-facing product capabilities
Understands client pain points and refines solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform future strategic direction
Escalates any issues promptly on identification
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relative work experience in financial services
Experience within client services and experience with legal agreement negotiation for M&A escrows and paying agents
Ability to problem solve across multiple teams and a cluster of products
Extensive experience working in a sales cycle and engaging with clients on a regular basis
Experience solutioning for complex agreements or onboarding problems
Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially negotiating
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong Excel and Word skills
Team player experienced working in a highly matrixed and complex organization
Preferred
Bachelors degree
Experience with Project Finance Account Bank
Experience with Litigation (Qualified Settlement Fund) and/or Bankruptcy (pre- or post-restructuring) escrows and depositories
Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese helpful
