Responsibilities
Lead a team of health & benefits consultants
Develop and own the business plan for the Health business
Lead and support the team in serving clients and growing the business
Manage overall performance, retention and profitability of client relationships in your market
Partner with sales professionals to develop and sell new client relationships
Serve as the face to the market, including clients, prospects, vendors and professional organizations
Lead the team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration in service of clients
Serve as strategic resource for all of the clients in your market
Lead benefits strategy, design and pricing for a portfolio of clients, including all areas of health & welfare programs
Provide client leadership focused on business objectives
Lead client relationships to measurable results
Oversee vendor negotiations and provide technical coaching to other team members
Qualification
Required
10+ years Health and Benefits background
Consulting experience (10+ years)
Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in the Health and Benefits discipline
Complex project management experience
Broad business knowledge/perspective
Team building skills
Business development experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Active Health & Life license
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience
