Facilites Maintenance Lead

The Facilities Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring that all building systems and facility infrastructure remain safe and operational while overseeing maintenance operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead daily maintenance operations: Complete tasks, oversee technicians, coordinate with Operations, and ensure timely completion of work orders
Perform skilled industrial maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems that support manufacturing operations
Manage preventive maintenance programs: Develop PM schedules for facility and production support equipment (compressors, electrical, IT, etc.)
Support production uptime: Respond quickly to equipment failures and coordinate resources to minimize downtime
Oversee contractors and vendors: Manage service providers for specialized repairs, facility upgrades, and regulatory inspections in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and plant specific safety standards and policies
Conduct facility inspections: Monitor building conditions, utilities, safety systems, and environmental controls
Maintain parts inventory: Track critical spares, tools, and consumables to support uninterrupted operations
Ensure compliance: Follow OSHA, EPA, and plant specific safety standards; support audits and documentation
Participate in continuous improvement: Recommend process enhancements, energy saving initiatives, and equipment upgrades
Qualification
Required
5+ years of industrial or manufacturing facilities/building maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Experience with CMMS systems for work orders, PMs, and asset tracking
Leadership or team lead experience in a plant or industrial setting
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Familiarity with industrial utilities such as compressed air, vacuum systems, chilled water, and process ventilation
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in production environments
Preferred
Certifications such as HVAC, electrical, welding, or OSHA 30 are a plus
