Bellefaire JCB is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing community-based services. The Independent Living Intern will support adolescents and young adults by offering clinical care, therapeutic services, and participating in client assessments and treatment planning.

Health Care

Responsibilities

Participate in client assessment, treatment planning, care coordination and active case management as assigned

Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients in the Independent Living Program

Direct all necessary care coordination with clients and families

Engage and participate in individual and group therapy sessions as well as all related treatment planning activities

Other clinical services and administrative assignments necessary to the enrichment of the internship environment

Participate in weekly supervision with the assigned supervisor and any other related trainings or program meetings

Maintain awareness of industry trends and professional knowledge by attending agency training, maintaining continuing education standards and reviewing professional publications

Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training as required

Maintain trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards

Maintain necessary documentation and oversight of client clinical record

Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material

Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned by management
