Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, including architecture design, networking, security, and cost optimization
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes, including release management and rollback strategies
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Manage relational databases (RDS) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) for storing and retrieving data efficiently
Implement AI technologies and machine learning models to enhance system performance and automation
Monitor system performance and reliability, and implement necessary improvements using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment process, including vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and compliance checks
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality practices across the DevOps team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a focus on release management, AWS architecture, and database management
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
Solid understanding of database management, including relational databases (RDS) and NoSQL databases
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 5%); will include some overnight travel
Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
Preferred
Experience with AI technologies and machine learning models is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
