Bioinformatics Research Specialist

Lead analyses of multi-dimensional clinical or genomic datasets with a strong focus on cancer research
Oversee high throughput omics project design, data analysis, and data presentation
Conduct collaborative computational and informatics research projects involving methods development, novel algorithm development, and in-depth data analysis
Facilitate and integrate implementation, visualization, and database management of multi-dimensional clinical and biological datasets generated at the Cancer Center or from public cancer databases
Qualification
Required
Experience in data science, health informatics, or bioinformatics
Strong focus on cancer research
Ability to lead analyses of multi-dimensional clinical or genomic datasets
Experience with high throughput omics project design
Proficiency in data analysis and data presentation
Collaborative skills for working with Bioinformatics leadership and faculties
Experience in computational and informatics research projects
Skills in methods development and novel algorithm development
Experience in in-depth data analysis
Knowledge of implementation, visualization, and database management of multi-dimensional clinical and biological datasets
