They are seeking an experienced Silicon Photonics Applications Engineer to support their sales and marketing team by working directly with customers and foundries to enhance product designs and implement EO polymers.

Responsibilities

Develop application notes, white papers, and related documents for customers, foundries, and other ecosystem partners

Work directly with customers to support their product designs

Work directly with foundries to implement EO polymers and encapsulation in their process flow

Collaborate with materials and engineering teams to ensure a consistent flow of communication from customers, foundries, and other external partners

Required

A bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, materials science, or related field, and 5+ years of industry experience. A master's degree with 3+ years of experience will be considered

Demonstrated ability to support customers and external partners by solving complex problems

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of silicon photonics design and manufacturing, including photonics foundry processes and PDKs

Previous experience with photonics foundries and PDKs

Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, 30%
