Chemical

Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain a wide range of water treatment systems, including water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis units
Perform water quality testing and system diagnostics to identify and resolve performance issues
Educate customers on system usage, maintenance, and best practices
Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
Maintain customer records, using automated systems
Inspects, tests, and observes chemical changes in water system equipment, utilizing test kit, reference manual, and knowledge of chemical treatment
Completes special projects upon request, and other duties may be assigned

Knowledge of chemical processes and transformations
1-3 years of experience working in chemical, sanitation, food protection, food manufacturing or related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Post-secondary education preferred
