Sales Funding Specialist
Moby Capital is a dynamic company seeking a driven and resilient Sales Funding Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, qualifying leads and educating them on revenue-based lending while maintaining a strong closing pipeline.
Responsibilities
Initiate contact via phone, email, and text; maintain consistent follow-up
High call volume environment with progressive dialer (200+ per day)
Assess client eligibility based on revenue, industry, and funding needs
Explain revenue-based lending and our unique value proposition
Set realistic expectations based on client financials
Share tailored examples of funding products
Log tasks, track communications, and ensure timely follow-ups
Warm transfer or schedule calls with closers
Re-engage clients if communication lapses
Qualification
Required
Sales Experience: Comfortable making outbound calls and overcoming objections
Strong Communicator: Able to speak confidently with business owners and decision-makers
Resilient & Persistent: 'Always fishing' mindset with a 25% close rate on qualified leads
Competitive mindset and team-oriented attitude
Finance Background: Understanding of credits vs. debits, loan structures, and risk-based pricing
