Responsibilities

Approximately 75% of the candidate's time will be spent managing and administering core HR functions, and 25% on Operational functions
Administer and oversee semi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and resolution of discrepancies
Manage and advise on benefits administration, open enrollments, team communications, and serve as a liaison with benefit providers
Oversee the integrity and confidentiality of HR Information Systems, personnel files, and timekeeping records accurately and confidentially. Generate and analyze HR reports as needed
Ensure firm-wide compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Lead and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes to support compliance, engagement, and operational effectiveness
Support and advise on full-cycle recruiting efforts: candidate evaluations, interviewing and hiring selection, and offer coordination
Provide operational and strategic support across multiple offices and administrative teams
Maintain relationships with operations vendors, equipment
Assess existing practices and design/update workflows that improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across the firm

Required

At least 3 years of experience in core Human Resources functions and business operations
Proficiency with HRIS platforms, talent management tools, and payroll systems
An intermediate understanding of payroll accounting rules and employment laws
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, changing environment
A self-starter who is assertive, proactive, independent, flexible, and accommodating
Expert in most Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable learning and navigating new technology and software applications

Preferred

Experience with ADP Workforce Now
A college degree in HR or a business-related field
