Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive migration and modernization guidebook not exceeding 50 pages, covering cloud migrations and hybrid modernization scenarios
Create medium-fidelity architecture diagrams illustrating migration paths, hybrid architectures, and modernization patterns
Produce an executive summary presentation deck that synthesizes key themes and recommendations
Design practical checklists and decision trees for migration readiness and role-specific considerations
Research and document migration strategies including rehost, refactor, replatform, and rearchitect approaches
Provide comprehensive coverage of enterprise server roles including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, web workloads, and virtualization
Address modernization guidance for line-of-business applications and containerized workloads
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and subject matter experts through weekly checkpoint meetings
Participate in monthly draft review cycles and incorporate feedback through iterative refinement
Synthesize historical technical materials with current cloud and hybrid solutions into updated guidance
Ensure content quality meets high-polish standards comparable to existing enterprise migration guides
Qualification
Required
8+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise server technologies and infrastructure management
8+ years of experience developing marketing materials and customer-facing technical content
8+ years of experience with on-premises to cloud service migrations and modernization projects
Proven track record of creating high-quality technical documentation for enterprise audiences
Experience working with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure solutions
Portfolio of published customer-facing technical content demonstrating writing quality and technical depth
Demonstrated expertise in enterprise infrastructure patterns and modernization scenarios
Experience creating architecture documentation and technical diagrams
Expert knowledge of enterprise server operating systems and infrastructure management
Deep understanding of cloud migration methodologies and hybrid architecture patterns
Proficiency in developing customer-facing technical marketing materials
Strong technical writing abilities with focus on clarity and practitioner accessibility
Experience creating architecture diagrams and visual representations of technical concepts
Knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
Understanding of enterprise infrastructure roles including directory services, networking, and storage
Familiarity with cloud adoption frameworks and modernization best practices
Ability to balance technical accuracy with readability for diverse audiences
Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional technical teams
Capability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into cohesive guidance
