Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

LHH is partnering with a respected law firm in St. Petersburg to hire an experienced Commercial Real Estate Lending Paralegal. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of commercial lending transactions, supporting real estate lending matters, and coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Support commercial real estate lending matters from engagement through post-closing
Draft and review commercial loan documents, including construction, refinance, and asset-based loans
Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing-related transactions
Conduct and manage due diligence (entity, title, survey, etc.)
Prepare, track, and maintain detailed closing checklists
Review closing deliverables and proactively identify and resolve issues
Summarize and analyze complex contracts and lease documents
Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, clients, title companies, and opposing counsel

Required

3–5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
Strong drafting, diligence, and closing experience
Ability to manage a high volume of deals independently
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) certification or eligibility
Professional demeanor and collaborative mindset

Preferred

Current or recent law firm experience representing lenders
