Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise security standards and controls
Translate complex security concepts into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Drive security awareness and promote compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Oversee day-to-day identity and access management activities, including periodic access reviews and audits
Own and manage disaster recovery strategies, while partnering with risk and compliance teams on business continuity planning
Act as a trusted subject matter expert on federal and state information security regulations and frameworks
Support threat detection, threat hunting, and incident response activities using modern security frameworks and tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in information security, IT, or risk management
One or more industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CRISC, or CISA
Strong knowledge of healthcare security and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, and similar regulatory audits preferred)
Hands-on experience with MITRE ATT&CK for detection engineering, threat hunting, or incident response
Experience with enterprise logging and monitoring platforms (e.g., SIEM solutions such as Splunk)
Proven background in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing
Solid expertise across network and endpoint security technologies, including IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR/XDR, DLP, vulnerability management tools, and Windows/Linux/macOS environments
